Community

What is community but a fellowship of hearts united in the desire to love and serve those outside the tent.

If a community was just to serve and make comfortable it's own members, it is not a community but a clique or a club.

Shall we feast and fellowship in the Church and leave the Lost to starve and freeze in the cold.

If we are to truly follow Jesus' commandment and love others as we love ourselves, then we have to become friends of sinners. We need to love unselfishly the Wiccan, Gay, lost, lonely and strange. We have to show graciousness to those different from ourselves. We have to make holy the secular and even the unholy as we through Christ redeem the times.

Too long have we sat in our Church strongholds to protect us in the culture wars. This is a tactic of demons. We have to let down our drawbridge of pride. We have to sally forth to win the world with our love.
